Layout

In the layout view you can create an abstract representation of your model train layout. This layout presentation can be used while controlling your layout in the throttle or while creating automation for your layout.

Editing the example layout

Editing​

The top bar of the layout editor allows you to select the edit action you wish to perform, the options are:

Action	Description
Add	Create a new track, function, signal, sensor or function
Clone	To ease the construction of complicated layout you can clone previous configured items. On tap selects the source (with blue border), a tap anywhere else than the source places a clone. Tapping the source will deselect it.
Rotate	Rotate an placed item clockwise
Delete	Delete an item from the layout
Edit	Configure a place item, depending on the type of item you have difference configuration options.

Items​

The following items can be placed on your layout

Item	Description
Track straight, Track curve, Track wide curve	Straight piece of track. Will display as darkgrey in case a feedbacksensor is configured.
Turnout left, Turnout right, Double Slip	Turnout. Allows the configuration of an accessory address.
Track signal	Track bound signal. Allows configuration of the type of signal and the accessory address.
Track bumper	Visual indicator of the end of the track.
Track sensor, Sensor	Generic non track or track bound sensor to monitor a feedback sensor. Allows the configuration of a feedback sensor.
Track switch, Switch	Generic non track or track bound switch to toggle any accessory. Allows the configuration of an accessory address.
Camera	Places a camera on the layout, gives insight in the throttle about the status of vehicle detection.
Route	Creates a switch on your layout to easily set a route.
Assets	Multiple assets are available to beautify your layout.
